22.07.2008 • Half-Life promosingle released
The first bullet from the forthcoming album has now been Fired in form of 'Half-Life' promosingle. The CD contains single and albumversions of 'Half-Life' plus albumversion and a video of 'Quicksand'. Check out a sample here.
The single is for promotion only and it's not for sale. However you might hear these songs playing on Radio Rock and YleX. Contact them and force them to play some Grendel!

The date of Grendel's gig at Hellä (Tampere) has changed. The new date is Thursday 27.11.2008.
19.06.2008 • Grendel signs a deal with Firebox
Grendel has signed a deal with Firebox Records. The second album is called 'A Change Through Destruction' and it will be released in fall 2008. First bullet will be served late this summer in form of single called 'Half-Life'.

The second album release has been delayed due to negotiations with few possible associates. The release will most likely take place in October 2008. Stay alert!

MySpace Finland, Tuska Festival and Stay Heavy Records are looking for the next big thing in metal. Grendel is one of the 5 finalists that were selected from among 301 participating bands. Now you can vote for Grendel once a day until 25th of May at MySpace!
The winner will perform in the Tuska Evening Club at Virgin Oil and will also be nominated as MySpace Finland's Artist of the Week.

25.01.2008 • 2nd Album: now ready!
Grendel's second, yet untitled album was yesterday given the finalizing touch by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers and now we can call it ready. The album will hopefully be released during spring 2008. Check here for a small teaser video.

One song from Promo 2007 will be served for you very soon in video form. The song is called Quicksand and it will most likely take it's place on the second Grendel album, which we are planning to release during 2008.

After only four months of Lost Beyond Retrieval's release party the Sonic Pump is once again booked for Grendel. The recordings of two new songs start on 25th of April.

The exact release date of 'Lost Beyond Retrieval' is the 13th of December. The album is released by Grendel and distribution will be handled by Firebox Distribution. The release party is at Hevimesta the 14th of December. During that night you'll see live performances by Grendel and Hollow Heart.
